Griya Biru Foundation was founded by five Gen Z individuals who share experience and interest in community service and volunteering. GBF continues to grow by involving more Gen Z as board members and volunteers.
GBF focuses on preserving and restoring coastal and marine ecosystems by applying Blue Carbon and Blue Economy principles through environmental action, education, community empowerment, and collaboration, while supporting the SDGs.
GBF is driven by Gen Z, but is open to anyone who cares and wants to take part in protecting the environment. We believe sustainability requires the involvement and collaboration of many generations and backgrounds.
GBF’s activities currently focus on Lampung, Surabaya, and Greater Jakarta, and continue to grow through our community and partner networks.
